ShiftBell is a time clock used by employers to record their workers’ hours, breaks and work locations.
What we collect: business owner contact details; worker names, cell numbers, PINs and pay rates entered by the employer; clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, answers to clock-out questions, and the phone’s location at the moment of a clock-in or clock-out (only when the employer turns on location checks). Optional clock-in photos.
How we use it: only to run the time clock for the employer — timesheets, payroll exports, break compliance records, reminders and alerts.
Text messages: phone numbers are used only for work texts described in our text message terms. We do not sell or share phone numbers or consent with third parties for marketing.
Sharing: we do not sell personal information. We use service providers to host the app and deliver texts.
Your choices: workers can reply STOP to stop texts and can ask their employer to correct or delete their information. Employers can export or delete their data at any time.
